One Month More

The Cam x Camille pups are four weeks old today.  They have all been so great!  They started on a light gruel a few days ago and they absolutely love it!  Camille is relieved.  She is so uncomfortable with the teeth that she has started walking around and dragging them.  She's catching on that staying still and laying down is less painful than them hanging and trying to reach.

Here they are just one week ago while I was changing the bedding.  Now they are just climbing right out of the pen with the door open.  I can't believe in one short month all of these precious pups will be greeting their new families in the new year!

"A-Ch"ievement Unlocked!

After nearly two years of showing in the altered classes, today Sawyer finished her Altered Championship with 28 points and 3 majors by taking breed over four specials.  What a way to finish!

Another weekend, another show.

Rhett is now 13 months and is going to start hitting the ring this year.  At the PASA show in Los Banos, CA, he was uncertain about everything at first after not being shown in 6 months, but he grew more confident every time he stepped in the ring.  At the fourth and final show of the weekend he presented himself in style and received reserve winners dog!

Sawyer has never had luck at PASA shows in the past, only ever receiving altered reserve winners at most with small classes.  Today she broke that streak, and showed her heart out garnering one point!  She now has twenty four points and two majors.  We hope to see her finish soon.

There is no such love that can compare to that of a best friend; even if said friend is a dog.

"Rhett" "Sawyer" and "Peach" show their flare this not-so-spooky season!
We had a great time going out and having fun shooting.  I couldn't be more proud of the young boy "Rhett" on his first successful holiday set.  The "Deceiver of Hearts" played a grand Queen of Hearts as well.  Peach finished everything off as the White Queen this year.  We really weren't working with much but I couldn't be more satisfied!

Bully Boo Walk 2013

10/21/2013

Yesterday was the 2013 Bully Boo Walk in Woodward Park.
Our day started with getting all dressed up and then taking a 40 minute drive to the event.  When we got there Sawyer was a tad too excited so we practiced some obedience to try and calm her.
While she ended up sitting out the two mile walk, Envy and I finished the walk in a little over twenty minutes then went trick-or-treating at the vendor booths.  She brought in a good biscuit haul!
After our visiting the vendors I signed the little black girl up for the costume contest.  While waiting for the start we went to the photo booth and had a little confusion.  The girls had no clue why I wasn't the one taking a picture and why they weren't stacked!  Afterwards it was about time for the contest.    It was so much fun seeing all the dogs in costume.  The winners absolutely deserved it!
It was great going out and seeing all our bully friends again.  FBR did an excellent job again this year and we are looking forward to the next one!

It's really a nice day when I can take the dogs and run down to the arena with them.  An entire morning dedicated to playing in a large open area is exactly what they all needed!

The Things A Canine Genius Does...

Trouble is a given when Peachy is involved.  She has her quirks like any other living being, but there are some things that leave me bewildered.
One thing the princess likes to do is open doors.  They aren't handled door knobs either.  Once she gets inside she likes to open drawers.  I still havent figured out how exactly she is accomplishing this.
After she browses the food selection in any drawers she'll head for the food bin.  It's pretty obvious she's been in there from her favorite stuffed toy sitting right on top of the food or the entire bin being tipped over!
She is a mischievous one, for sure, but she is a peach!

The beginning

7/21/2013

It's been an amazing weekend.  We've received approval for our kennel name from ASCA and Peachy finished her AKC Championship the next day presented by handler Megan Hof!  Even though this website won't go live for another two months, I will be thrilled to share anymore wins beforehand.  And so...This is the beginning!
